Decisions - we’ll make them with you.
Are you ready to make fast, safe, inclusive decisions?
Consent Decision Making is an organisational superpower and we’re offering a new service that helps you and your team to make decisions by consent 🦸 Using it, Mark has facilitated organisational restructures and Tim has facilitated $1 million decisions. Literally. And all in under an hour.
Consent Decision Making is a facilitated group decision-making process with a bias to action that seeks to quickly make ‘safe to try’, ‘good enough for now’ decisions whilst integrating the wisdom of the group. This powerful process supports lightning-fast decisions, makes sure all voices are heard, and helps build trust, empowerment and accountability along the way!
Consent Decision Making:
Aims for a perfect good enough decision, that’s safe to try right now.
Maximises brainpower to arrive at a workable solution quickly.
Has is a bias to consensus action.
Check for no "no"s, rather than asking for all "yes"es.
So the aim is for consent, not full agreement or endorsement. And with no objections to your proposal, you can try something, glean data and make iterations.
How it works
You need someone with a proposal and a team that’s willing to accept a decision that’s good enough for now and safe enough to try. Your team then meets for 45 - 90 minutes depending on the size of team and the decision, and Tim and/or Mark will take you and the team through the steps that will lead to a fast, safe, and inclusive decision.

About Tim
My facilitation journey began in 2016, when I ran the first Design Sprint for a UK Local Council. I discovered Consent Decision Making in 2020 and have facilitated the process for a number of organisations including the Smithsonian and a UK Gov Department. I’m passionate about the process and have written this short blog, and made this short video to help explain it.
My role / our role in the process will be to make sure that:
a decision is made in the time allowed
the process is followed
All voices are heard.
